Release Notes v1.3

Summary

The scope of the DIR Link 1.3 release covers the following:

1. Expanding the roles in NRDR that can access / perform tasks in DIR Link on Connect

2. Improvements to the Activity Monitor screen

3. Stability improvements to the Connect Windows platform / DIR Link as volume continues to scale in production for the DIR Registry

4. Maintenance items for Security, upgrades and other technical debt items

New Features

1. DIR Link now recognizes the below roles in the NRDR portal to authorize and access specific permissions in DIR Link:

   1. Corporate Admin

   2. Facility Administrator

   3. Facility User

   4. Registry Administrator

   5. Service User

2. Each role has a defined set of permissions congruent with what the user can see / do in the NRDR portal

3. Additionally, DIR Link will allow two Connect only roles to access DIR Link and a limited set of screens - Connect Administrators, Connect App Users assigned to DIR Link

4. Authorized users can enable a Single Facility Workflow where the user can bypass upfront Scanner configuration for NRDR corporate accounts that have only a single Facility

5. Allow users to unlink a Scanner mapped to Facility in case an error occurred during Scanner set-up and configuration

Fixes / Maintenance

1. Upgrade Angular from v12 to v16

2. Improved database queries and ForEachLoop calls for database tasks

3. Improved archival of data submissions after 30 days

4. Additional C-STORE logging for data received by DIR Link and other Serilog logging improvements

5. Improved event messaging with DIR Link and other Connect components as well as SignalR implementation for publishing data to DIR Link

6. Security vulnerability remediation per ACR’s remediation program

Improvements

1. Users can retry all failed submissions in the Activity Monitor depending upon their role permissions

2. Improved UI in the Activity Monitor screen based on new features and optimization of loading data submissions in the Activity Monitor screen

3. Improved the Scanner Import feature to auto-detect and map columns in the import file to the Scanner profile fields in DIR Link for scanner configuration
