Bulk Folder Input - Large Data Sets

  1. If you select “Bulk Folder Import” and there are no datasets loaded to the Connect folder path or you do not see the Connect folder path you needed, please contact your Connect Administrator.

  2. If you select “Bulk Folder Import” and there are datasets loaded to the Connect folder path, a list of those folder paths displays.

  3. Select the folder path by clicking “Import Data”. A message will display advising that any non-DICOM files in this folder path will be skipped. Click “Continue” to proceed. Alternatively, you can click “Cancel” to cancel the operation.A screenshot of a computer

  4. You will be prompted to create a dataset. Click “Queue Folder Import” to initiate the import from the selected folder path. Alternatively, you can edit the name of the dataset and then save or “Cancel” the operation. NOTE: For more efficient processing, the ability to preview the metadata on the “Preview” page is disabled by default. If you wish to see this metadata, check the “Enable Preview Features” box.A screenshot of a computer

  5. The folder import is now queued.  A screenshot of a computer

  6. Click “Data Import Progress” to go to monitor the import status. You can click “Preview” next to successful import or partially successful import to preview the data before submission. For partial submissions or failures, you can click “Details” to learn more about any errors.A screenshot of a computer

  7. Click “Preview” to go to the “Preview” page. A screenshot of a computer

  8. From the “Preview” page you can:
    1. Click “Anonymization Preview” to preview and confirm the anonymization
    2. Click ”Cancel” to return to the import list
    3. Click the trash icon to delete the file. Alternatively, you can select a file or files and then delete them.
    4. Filter the list based on Modality, Study Description, or Study UID

  9. Click “Submit Data Set” to proceed with the submission NOTE: It is strongly recommended you preview the anonymized data before submission

  10. Upon submission, the file is queued.A screenshot of a computer

  11. Click “Submission Monitor” in the message to view a list of submissions and their status.A screenshot of a computer
